Hannah & Scott

June 4th, 2022 | Villwock Farms | Edwardsport, Indiana

I had the sincere pleasure of planning, designing, and executing Hannah and Scott's best day ever on June 4th, 2023 at Villwock Farms down south of Bloomington in Edwardsport, Indiana. Not only did they trust me with all the little details, they trusted me to marry them too!

Being my first officiation, I was really hesitant to hand the reigns over to my partner in life, PJ, for their processional. Not because I doubt his abilities, but because that's my favorite part of the day! But, if there was any couple I was comfortable handing that control over for, it was them. It goes without saying that PJ did a fantastic job and sent them down the aisle with ease!

Spending the year getting to know Hannah & Scott was an added bonus, as we got to really dive into their story and personalize their day with special touches.

Not only was the venue previously owned by Scott's family, the tractor displayed was as well and it was a the perfect way to greet the guests as they arrived (and his sister's honey was the best favor EVER!).

In addition to the touches from Scott's family, we were able to incorporate Hannah's mom's wedding dress, who was joining us from up above. I swear she was looking down on us the entire day to send them off into marriage in bliss. Not only was momma's dress included, I created a special spot just for her to watch over the ceremony at. It was well received, as you can see 🥹

The relationship that Hannah, Scott, and I formed also allowed for them to hand the reigns of the day over completely and truly enjoy the memories they are making. Just look at these smiling faces!

Once the ceremony wrapped, we had fun taking photos and then got the party started! Lindsey J. Williams serenaded us all night long with some of Hannah and Scott's favorite tunes. He also provided the perfect soundtrack to their first dance as dusk fell and the fireflies came alive. It was at this moment that I turned to PJ and said "this is a wedding I've always wanted to create" #imnotcryingyouare

We could not have had a better night (seriously!) and it would NOT have been possible without the tent and rentals from DIY Rentals (they literally saved the day, don't even ask, ha!). With dinner and dessert provided by Grazing Co. Charcuterie Queens and cake by Bake Me a Cake Etc, the team was able to give Hannah and Scott exactly what they envisioned. Just writing about it makes me swoon all over again 😍

And since I can't pick a favorite photo, we'll end this post with more lovely images from Photography & Design by Lauren. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who helped make this possible ❤️
